AboutThings is an independent product and design practice founded by Job Stehmann, based in the NDSM area of Amsterdam.

He has led product, design and technology teams, at Philips and VanMoof, and knows what it takes to turn strategy into something real.

That experience spans UX, product design, technology, manufacturing and product leadership, from the boardroom to the factory floor. Job has built and led teams across industrial and experience design, hardware, engineering, electronics, firmware, software and apps, from small teams to organisations of more than 200 people, as well as bringing multiple products from early ideation through development and into market launch.

Today, we bring that experience to ambitious products where physical and digital meet, helping companies navigate strategy, organisation, product design and development.

AboutThings is intentionally small. Around each challenge, we bring together a trusted network of specialists with exactly the capabilities the problem requires. This means senior attention stays close to the work, while the team can scale and adapt to what each challenge demands. Together, we take complex products from direction to reality.
